Daily Structure

Each day includes:

  • Survival English (10 minutes):

    • Introduction and practice of 2–3 new words or phrases.

  • School Orientation (10 minutes):

    • Teaching one routine, location, or school-related vocabulary with visuals.

  • Safety/Culture (10 minutes):

    • Introduction to one safety rule, cultural norm, or respectful behavior, followed by practice.

  • Survival English

    The curriculum introduces students to essential vocabulary and phrases necessary for everyday communication. This includes greetings, introductions, asking for help, and expressing needs and emotions.

  • School Orientation

    Students become familiar with the school's routines, locations, and essential vocabulary. This includes understanding classroom objects, identifying key school areas, and discussing daily schedules.

  • Safety and Culture

    The program introduces basic safety rules and cultural norms, ensuring students understand classroom rules, follow emergency procedures, and respect cultural diversity.

Chapter 1- Chapter 1: Days 0–30 (Foundation) This chapter builds foundational English skills and familiarizes students with the school environment and cultural expectations.
Chapter 2: Days 31-60 Welcome to the continuation of the e-book, exploring lessons that will guide students through days 31 to 60.
Chapter 3: Days 61-90 Welcome to the final chapter of our e-book, designed to support newly arrived English Learners (EL) as they navigate their first 90 days. In this chapter, students will continue to expand their vocabulary, further explore their school environment, and deepen their understanding of cultural and safety practices.
